Coat: His coat is a mix between brown and copper. The red hues are more vibrant and fiery when the sun shines on his thin pelt.
Scars: Vague scratches run down his the inside of his arms and the top of his hind limbs. They're not too easy to notice, but if you look close enough, you'll see the grooves in his skin where claws have slashed multiple times.
Eyes: His eyes are a washed blue color, pupils cloudy due to a severe case of cataracts. His gaze has an eerie, distant touch to it that makes it rather intimidating. Luckily, his mane is long enough to where it falls across his face in thick bangs to hide his crazed glare.

Best Features: His best features would be his smile, as Valentino's smirk is very warm and filled with character, or even be deceiving, masking a storm of emotions. His other remarkable physical aspect is his tall, lanky body; the maned wolf hybrid towers above most others with his slender and stilt-like limbs. His dark brown and scene-styled mane is rather eyecatching as well, as it is not commonly seen with wolves.

Personality: Valentino gives off an intimidating, eerie vibe, and a ghastly appearance does not lessen this little problem of his. He has a distant stare that usually repels others, causing him to become a bit of a loner in the pack. Most who have come to know him find Valentino's charm, intelligence, and mysteriousness irreplaceable. He is very polite and friendly, having an open mind, active imagination, and enjoyment of listening and learning. Valentino has a strange but typically good sense of humor. To him, the best medicine is laughter.
To begin with, he is extremely sensitive. Situations which are charged with sadness may drive the normally peaceful Valentino into a state of charged sadness, hurt, or even anxiety. He is very perceptive to conflict, and he cannot tolerate it very well. He may tend to hurt to his skin in desperate attempts to counter these consuming feelings of stress, but it only puts him into a deeper, more focused cycle of chaos. While he is in someways very gentle and easy going with others, conversely, he has very high expectations for himself, and can get into vicious battles with himself when he fails to meet them.
Having his manners beaten into him at a young age, he often lets people walk over him and does not care to speak his mind. So he's become something of a pushover. He doubts himself and his abilities, has a low self-confidence, and he can be very worrisome over practically everything. But he tries not to let these things bother him too much. Coming to grips with his extraordinary emotional depth and sensitivity isn't easy for many, and so Valentino could be easily described as misunderstood.
Valentino has an uncanny insight into people and situations. He gets "feelings" about things and intuitively understands them. He can be pretty understanding of others' emotions, and I guess you could say that he is more concerned for theirs than his. This is the sort of thing that others may scorn and scoff at, and Valentino himself does not really understand why they would in the first place. Consequently, he is very protective of his inner self, sharing only what he chooses to share when he chooses to share it. He is a deep, complex individual, who is very private and typically difficult to understand. Valentino holds back a lot of himself, and can be secretive.
But Valentino is as genuinely warm as he is complex. He holds a special place in the heart of people who he is close to, who are able to see his special gifts and depth of caring. He is concerned for people's feelings, and tries to be gentle to avoid hurting anyone. On the other hand, Valentino is a perfectionist who doubts that he is living up to his full potential. He is rarely at complete peace with himself - there's always something else he should be doing to make himself and the world around him better. He believes in constant growth, and does not often take time to sort through his accomplishments. Valentino is likely to never give himself enough credit for the things which he does extremely well. His strong value systems can lead to him being intensely perfectionist, and causes him to judge himself with unnecessary harshness.
He has an unusually deep will of caring for those who are close to him, and he's likely to show his love and appreciation through actions, rather than words, even if he can be pretty skilled with them at times. He is a very passionate individual, but he'd prefer to keep displays of affection where other eyes aren't probing at him. Valentino loves attention and affection, so be sure to give him a lot of it if you're enamored by him, because of out sight means out of mind. Share thoughts with him and try to connect with him at an emotional level, and, most of all, never fake with Valentino. He can see lies a mile away.
Valentino is easy to take home for the night, and it is much harder to form romance with him. He is very sensitive and mostly feels lonely and unfulfilled, but he would rarely let someone know this. You know that he feels safe around you when conversations with him start to lean toward his own feelings and experiences, because those subjects are rarely featured in discussions with Valentino. Sensitivity and affection is the best way to appeal his emotions and form a close relationship with him. As for his negative side, he is jealous and unhealthily possessive, and would rarely let someone completely control him. When it comes to someone he really cares about, though, he is a bit gentle. He is loving and devoted, even if he does hold a on a tad too tightly. It all goes back to the darker side of him, filled with insecurities and worries.
Valentino is an individual is gifted in ways that others are not. A rare find, you could say. Like everyone else, however, he has his flaws. That's just how life is. A big pile of good and bad things. The good things don't always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don't necessarily spoil the good things or make them unimportant. Life is not too easy for Valentino, but he is very capable of great depth of feeling and personal achievement.
